I believe that counseling promotes personal and/or relationship growth, even after the most difficult situations or traumatic experiences. Growth often requires action and it can be well worth it to develop an authentic sense of self.
The quality of my professional relationship is extremely important to me. To establish and maintain an effective therapeutic relationship with clients I have a nonjudgmental and non-coercive attitude during all sessions. I am committed to providing a safe environment for clients to feel comfortable and respected throughout the individualized therapeutic process utilizing a wide variety of research based techniques.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor & Trained Family Mediator in Florida. I have a M.A. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida with a B.A. degree in Psychology. As a previous consultant and partner with The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay and their Sexual Violence Task Force, I educated and advocated for system wide change to improve women’s health and treatment practices.
